We hosted our first CAFEM Ireland Users’ Meeting over two days, 11th and 12th September, in 2014.
The theme for the two days was “best practice in the field of engineering simulation”. The 50 delegates enjoyed presentations by simulation experts from CADFEM, ANSYS and you the ANSYS users and an evening dinner together at the end of the first day.
We were very pleased with the event which included very interesting and diverse presentations from our ANSYS users. Feedback from our industry and academic partners was also very positive and we now look forward to making these User Meetings an annual event in September.
We would like to thank all our sponsors and reiterate our congratulations to Dr. Oliver Warlow (Openhydro) who was awarded “best paper” for his paper entitled “ANSYS as a tool to optimise the design of tidal stream turbines”.
