ANSYS Mechanical is becoming ever easier to use thanks to its intuitive interface. Prepared analysis templates provide the user with structured workflows, which include complex tasks or multiphysics workflows. On the other hand, the appropriate modelling or the idealization of details, such as contact elements, still require the core competency of the expert simulation engineer. The same applies to other decisions: Where should I define my model limit? Which type of analysis do I choose? What are the boundary conditions and loads? Where is it worthwhile to think about a particular meshing strategy and where is this effort not justified?
This strength of this course is its particular attention to the application of simulation technology to real engineering examples.
