Accurate design and simulation needs accurate materials property data. Finding data that you can rely on is time consuming and difficult. You often need to transform that data into models that your simulation software can use, risking errors. In this webinar, we’ll explore the diverse materials data provided by ANSYS Granta, covering metals, plastics, composites, and more. We’ll see how to access this data seamlessly within simulation tools. And we’ll demonstrate the value of combining data with tools to help you narrow down materials options and to ensure use of approved, traceable company data.
What this webinar will give you:
- A tour of the Granta materials data library: metals, plastics, composites, additive manufacturing, and industry materials data catalogs; from Granta and other leading materials data providers
- Learn how this data is integrated with materials selection software and other desktop engineering tools
- See how to build your own materials database, a single source of company materials information combining in-house data with Granta reference data
- ANSYS users: see GRANTA Materials Data for Simulation, a data set now updated to support structural analysis (ANSYS Mechanical) and electromagnetic simulation (ANSYS Maxwell).
Who should take part?
- Materials experts
- Simulation analysts
